My G-grandfather Thomas BULLOCK married Mary CHAMBERS,
then Martha CHAMBERS. The 1870 census showed their mother as
being from Ireland. I have not established what her maiden
name was or if she married THOMAS CHAMBERS in the U.S.
Apparently Thomas had brothers Samuel, John, Joseph. I have
a paper dated May 17, 1864 saying Thomas Bullock,
Coitsville, Ohio was to report for duty in Warren, Ohio. My
Grandparents (Rosamond GREEN & Thomas BULLOCK) were both
born in NE. Any information on any of these names would be

COLTMEYER/KAULTMEYER,
STRUBBE
I am looking for any information on any STRUBBE that
settled in Nebraska. Most settled in IN after coming from
Germany ..... except for Henry STRUBBE Sr., who left Indiana
around 1874 & headed for NE. Henry STRUBBE was married
to Sarah COLTMEYER (or KAULTMEYER) and they had Laney,
Louis, Elizabeth, Frank, Amelia, and Ida. Louis STRUBBE was
the youngest, born in the fall of 1872 in Indiana, but his
obituary was seen years ago by a relative in a Nebraska
paper. Last year, a letter from a STRUBBE from California
arrived & was inquiring about family history. Her mother
was adopted by a Louis and Ollie STRUBBE along with other
children (Frances, Jack O., and Edna Marie) ... she went on
to state that her mother married her adopted cousin Floyd
William STRUBBE, son of Harold & Anna STRUBBE.
Interesting .... so I am trying to find anything on any
STRUBBE in NE. Would appreciate any info!

1920 NE census - Same as above only 20 yrs older ...
Children at home were Edith and and there was added a 16 yr

A check of the 1910 census had them as a farm family. Took a

might be the sister...& Ruth who should have been six

I have recently had a great deal of success with searching
my MADDEN line from NE. Because of my query, a very helpful
person located and sent to me, a copy of the Davy marriage
record of Louis Butler Madden and Mary McDonald Garver. This
record gave me the names of his parents and her father. I
have since been given information on Louis' maternal
grandparents and all four Great Grandparents back to 1755. I
also found out that my husband's grandmother, Bessie Alice
Madden was not born in Davy, Nebraska, but probably in
Comstock, NE, in 1901. I suspect that her mother -in-law may
be buried in Comstock. Her name was Clara Clarissa Wait(e)
Conkle Madden. Thank you for the help that you provide to
